1.) Hi, Luxe! Welcome to the Nookies network! We are so thrilled to talk with you right after you shot those two incredible scenes! Let’s start by getting to know you. Tell us about your ethnicity & background.
My family’s roots span South America from Colombia to Ecuador and Puerto Rico. I’m a proud second-generation American, I grew up in that liminal space between bachata and Metallica. It’s given me a deep appreciation for different perspectives and overall being adaptable; I’ve got a lot of flavor, literally and metaphorically.
2.) What are some fun or interesting facts about you? Things such as your favourite music, favourite food & drinks, former jobs you had, and things you do in your spare time.
I’ve had an eclectic upbringing. I’ve tended bar and barista’d (not sure if that’s a word), so I can make a mean latte and a killer cocktail. I tried stripping for a day but decided I’d rather have all the attention to myself.
As for food, ask any my friends, I’m always down to try new food (at least once) and I love tequila. I firmly believe it’s the healthiest liquor for the conscientious drinker (agave = health and wellness, right?). I host craft nights with friends (shoutout Nina Naples, best roommate in the world) where we’ve done everything from painting to making and modifying thrift store finds.
3.) Tell us a little about your journey into the porn industry. When you started & what made you decide to become an adult model/performer? Also, how did you choose your performer name?
I started in the industry about 2 years ago. I took a break along the way but was drawn back for the same reasons I first sought it out. I used to watch it and think “I could do that” and do it well. It also seemed like a fun, creative job and a safer and intentional way to explore sex, especially with professionals who take sexual wellness and testing seriously. Honestly watching porn is probably how I got so good at sex in the first place, not just techniques and positions but communication and confidence. Funny how some things come full circle.My name is very intentional too. Luxe because I wanted to convey a sense of luxury; la because I’m Spanish, and fox because i think it matches that I’m quite the fox.
4.) You were married once, but you are now single. Are you back in the dating pool again? What are some important traits you look for in a romantic partner?
I was married once but I’m single now, and just enjoying life. I’m not actively looking for anyone, just focused on having fun, investing in friendships, and doing things that make me feel fulfilled. If someone were to come along, I could see myself drawn to a kind, curious soul who doesn’t take themselves too seriously. But I’m really just happy doing my own thing and striving to live a better life everyday.
5.) Are your friends and family aware of your adult career choices? Are they supportive?
My family is very supportive, especially my brother- he doesn’t have any hang ups and respects the path I’ve chosen. My parents aren’t as forthcoming with it but they know I’m independent, safe, and doing something that makes me feel empowered. Support isn’t always loud, sometimes it comes as quiet respect and can be felt just as strong.
6.) You’re a gorgeous woman with a very beautiful and fit body. Do you have a workout routine or a skin regimen that you follow? Any tips for others out there?
Thank you so much for saying that. I don’t have a specific gym routine, but I’m working on it. I’ve got a dog that thinks he’s still a puppy, he keeps me active and I try to go to the gym every now and then. As for skin regimens, you’ll never find me without sunscreen! I let me skin tell me what it needs each day. For instance on heavy make up days it may involve double cleansing before a face wash, and another cleanser, on other days it may be simpler. But regardless, I always use water based moisturizer and aquaphor to seal it all in.
7.) Are there any performers that you are hoping to work with one day? Also, have there been any favorites you’d love to work with again?
Honestly there are too many to name, so many great experiences- if anyone wants to work again I couldn’t say no!
8.) Do you have a wild or kinky fantasy you’d love to live out on camera? Conversely, are there any types of scenes that you won’t shoot?
I’ve been interested in shibari for a long time and would love to explore both sides of the rope.
There aren’t many scenes that I won’t shoot. But for now, definitely no anal or gangbangs.
9.) If a new performer came to you for any advice on joining the porn industry, what would you tell them?
I think it’s really important to have an open mind but also be firm with your boundaries. It’s okay if you fuck up and you can say no. You can deny shoots, you can leave if you feel uncomfortable. Porn should be fun and safe.
10.). What are some of your personal goals for the future of your porn career?
One of my biggest goals is to start my own business and build a brand that reflects my creative style and values. I love story telling through visuals and would love to be on both sides of the camera on projects that take me around the work- that perfect combination of work and adventure.
