1.) Hi Delilah! Welcome to Nookies. Can you tell us a little about yourself. Who is Delilah Dagger?
I feel like that’s the hardest question for me to answer. Delilah is everything, but at the same time she’s literally just me. She’s every phase of my life combined into one person. I’ve always known what I liked, what I didn’t like, what I wanted to do, and who I never wanted to be. At the end of the day, Delilah Dagger is me. That’s really the simplest answer.
2.) What are some hobbies or interests you enjoy when you’re not on set shooting your next fire scene?
If I could, I’d be on set 24/7. I absolutely thrive in front of the camera. Unfortunately, that’s not exactly realistic, so when I do have downtime, I like to pour that energy back into myself. I love relaxing, practicing yoga and Pilates, and doing anything that helps me stay connected to my body and mind. Taking care of myself allows me to show up as the best version of me both on and off camera.
3.) What inspired you to take that first step into the industry in 2023?
I’d been circling the idea of going mainstream for nearly four years before finally making the leap in August 2023. I’ve always known I wanted to perform professionally and be on camera, but I wanted to make sure I did it the right way and on my own terms. I started on cam and subscription platforms in late 2018 and early 2019. While I had a lot of fun and learned a tremendous amount, I quickly realized it wasn’t the path that fulfilled me creatively. I burned myself out pretty fast. By 2020, I had stepped away from camming almost entirely, and thankfully the growth of subscription platforms allowed me to remain stable while figuring out my next move. That time away gave me the opportunity to really get to know myself, build my confidence, and become certain about what I wanted. Once I reached that point and had no doubts left, I dove into mainstream work and I’ve never looked back.
4.) Looking back, what were some of the biggest surprises you encountered during your first year as a performer?
Truthfully, how normal everyone was. Before entering the industry, I wasn’t sure what to expect. But from my very first day on set, I was surprised by how comfortable everything felt. From crew members to fellow performers, everyone was easy to be around and genuinely welcoming. I never expected to walk onto a set, meet the people I have, and feel so at home. In many ways, it’s been a complete 180 from a lot of my experiences outside the industry.
5.) Your popularity has grown quickly over the past couple of years. What do you think has contributed most to your success?
I think a lot of my success comes from taking my time before entering the industry. I waited until I truly knew what I wanted and who I was. I wanted to make sure everything I did felt fulfilling. More importantly, I reached a point in my life where I couldn’t easily be broken down, manipulated, or have my confidence taken away from me. Unfortunately, that’s something a lot of young women experience when entering this industry. I’m deeply secure in who I am, and I think that confidence comes across whether you’re talking to me in person or watching me on a screen.
6.) Out of all the tattoos you have, do any of them hold a special meaning to you?
Honestly, almost all of them mean something, even if that meaning is simply that I was having way too much fun as a teenager and making decisions based entirely on vibes. If I had to pick one, it would probably be the little “issues” tattoo above my ankle. I have great memories attached to getting it, and it kind of sums me up perfectly. From the outside, I probably look like a complete mess sometimes, and honestly, maybe I am. But I love that tattoo because it feels real. It reminds me not to take myself too seriously.
7.) What is your favourite sex position?
I’m a rider through and through. I love being on top and taking control of the moment. Even though I wouldn’t necessarily describe myself as dominant in every aspect of life, I definitely enjoy grabbing the reins and bringing that energy into my scenes.
8.) Are there any particular performers who you’d love to work with one day?
This industry is full of incredible performers, from rising stars to established veterans. But personally, I don’t really chase names. The best scenes come from working with people who match my energy, are professional, and genuinely enjoy creating. I’m always chasing the scene itself, never the scene partner. If the chemistry is there, that’s what matters most.
9.) What’s the best piece of advice you’ve received since starting your career?
I’ve received a lot of great advice, but the one thing that stays true no matter how the industry changes is consistency. There’s nothing particularly magical about it. Just keep showing up. Be present for your fans. Stay authentic. I still have fans who have followed me since my very first cam site, and they’re still incredibly supportive. Consistency builds trust, and trust builds longevity.
10.) Do you have any goals you’re hoping to achieve over the next few years?
I always have goals, but I try not to become too attached to them. I like staying fluid and adapting as I grow. Today’s goals might not be tomorrow’s goals, and opportunities I haven’t even thought of yet could end up being the most important ones. As long as I’m improving, putting my best foot forward, and continuing to grow every day, I trust that I’ll end up exactly where I’m supposed to be. Although, if we’re being honest…World domination is definitely on top of the list.
